The Scream

Acrylic on canvas board 40H x 30W cm, framed 40H x 30W x 01W cm. Contemporary art, impressionistic. Colors blue, red, violet, white, yellow, beige, black. UNIQUE by Uwe Stark 2022 I was inspired to create this picture by the world-famous masterpiece “The Scream” by Edvard Munch. In my opinion, the actual scream was not shown clearly enough. That’s why I brought the screaming person with their panic attack clearly to the front and completely blocked out the distracting background scenery such as the other people further back on the pier and the harbor. This made the message of the picture clearer and more coherent.
