ABOUT ALEX:
Born in a small town in the Northeast of Spain, Alex Carr discovered his passion for drawing and painting at a remarkably young age. While other children were preoccupied with toys, Alex expressed himself through vibrant colors and bold forms, using art as a means of communication during the challenging early years of his life. From birth, he faced formidable challenges due to severe hip dysplasia, which greatly limited his mobility. Despite the pain and obstacles, he found solace and escape in the world of imagination that his art afforded him.
As he grew older, Alex honed his unique style, fusing elements of cubism with surreal themes. His artwork invites viewers to navigate the complexities of the subconscious mind, addressing themes of emotions, identity, and societal issues. Each piece is a vivid tapestry that blends disparate elements, reflecting the chaos and beauty of human experience.
