ABOUT BETTINA:
Bettina Brandstoetter is a passionate artist from Austria, who works mostly with acrylic paints. Her style includes the technique of applying multiple layers of paint and using different tools to create depth, texture and vibrant effects. Her central theme is travel, as well as human connection and emotion, which fills her artwork with passion and presence.
BETTINA’S ART STATEMENT:
The love of painting has accompanied me throughout my life. As a little girl, I could spend hours with pencils and paper.Today I love acrylic paintings and I am inspired by my many travels through almost 50 countries around the world, time in nature and also series, lifestyle magazines and my everyday life. I like to visit vernissages, museums and exhibitions all over the world to look at all kinds of beautiful things and then create my very own creation from the impressions I have collected.
Today I live in Vienna, but in 2023 I set up a small studio in my home town on the countryside, where I spend as much time as possible and where I can express myself creatively.
