ABOUT NATALIA:
My journey as an artist began a while ago, about 25 years, in 1999, when I started my career as a psychologist who worked with children coming from problematic families. I was inviting the children to draw themselves, their families, their feelings, their life situations, their dreams. By doing that on a daily basis, I immersed myself in a completely different world – a world full of mysterious signs, destinies, images, feelings and associations. I was right in the middle – contemplating the beauty and catching thoughts about what could be the most important things in life. So little by little I began to draw and over time this wonderful activity became an irreplaceable part of me – the air that I breathe, the joy I feel, and inspiration I needed. Later I was graduated from the Latvian Christian Academy of Church Art in Jūrmala City where I was studying iconography. In March 2024, I been awarded with 1st place at the Fine Art Exhibition in London (UK), and participated in the 21st International Exhibition Of The Vitual Museum (Spring 2024). I am inspired by beauty, especially the beauty that is gifted by nature. All my paintings are the result of a deep and meditative contemplation of the beauty of this world in which we live. That’s how I find this wonderful energy and strength to live, create, and share the way I see this world.
